What does egg nog have to do with Christmas? Why can't we get it any other time of the year? Why do we get the hard candy this time of year? What is so secret about ribbon hard candy that one can no longer buy it?

Why do we seem to understand more from a passing remark then we do from years of the best teaching? Why do we learn so much quicker when we try to teach something?

Why do we have such a hard time going to sleep and such a hard time waking up again?

Why is it that in nature everything is so random but it is in perfect order and in human terms where things are so orderly, things are always clutered?

Why do we both cry and laugh at movies, or ourselves for that matter?

Why am I asking all these questions for which I do not need an answer, and asking them of people who have no answers to give?

Have I all of a sudden been overtaken by clarity? This is all so confused in the back part of ever so small thought processor unit.

Dearest Pope Todd, cast out this demon of reason that I might live among men and sup with them, share their fears and laugh not at the gallows they prepare for me.

Wow am I nuts or what? I think I have been reading to many of the gnostic texts.

seems like it pam, this whole war is like that, a surreal Copola movie...like the sight of US special forces, with a Radio Shack worth of equipment, on donkeys...apparently this guy converted to Islam, at age 16, I don't question the beliefs of others, much, but, at 16 most males are "converting" to girls, then..good question, why no CIA moles in there?, or maybe they were, maybe he was...totally surrreal!!
Nathen, I think "Cardinal Dunno" works perfectly....your episodic epiphonies are incongruesly illuminationg, soul-searching sonnets of solipsism. Selective obliviosity at it's sharpest ficus, ummm focus

u r cool, Arnie, as Todd would say, "This is a digression free" thread, i had a feeling you might need training wheels, for selective obliviosity, but that's cool too...
I'm clear, but not concise, my clarity is the type Larry reffered to in the thread title, though, it's distant cousin, to concise If you have a few minutes, maybe Nathen will explain it, for you

You guys are doing very well with this.
I was gunna just say "carry on". BUT, with this whole confusion/clarity/oblivious thing we got going on, I'm not sure how the phrase "carry on" would be taken. I mean you might just carry on as you were, or you might start to CARRY ON like some sort of disgruntled postal worker or some politician suffering from diarrea of the mouth, but in any case, no matter how you decide to carry on, remember that your carry on must be stored in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.Thank you on behalf of your flight crew. Carry on!
