something i stumbled across….it is that time of year!

i seem to have a similar take on it (?) based on historical things i have read, including from the bible, which in my head, would raise certain questions (like, so that person is a prophet,,,but that person is a witch? what?)

i am pretty sure i have been in a "figuring things out as i go" sort of mode on here more than once!,,, just wanting to sort some things out, a sort of thinking out loud…

i like to sometimes review our religious past to see where we came from----many religious beliefs! something i have posted here before, a key or legend i had picked up from somewhere which made sense to me:

astrology -> astronomy
alchemy -> chemistry
magic -> physics
religion -> science

and we are still figuring things out!

anyhow, for fun,,,,and free from fear. i really love venturing into these spaces that seem to be taboo for reasons i don't understand

ok

so, i really wasn't at all familiar with the braucher, became curious now for a gazillion reasons

and i read a bit more including about the healing thing, and a lot of superstition involved with that for sure (aiyee!), but then the hands on sort of comforting thing (stress reduction) and things like a proper diet….and such…

and thinking about this bit here:

"astrology -> astronomy
alchemy -> chemistry
magic -> physics
religion -> science"

made me think of something i heard on the radio recently about how hugs generally (according to some study) may make a person less susceptible to colds?

sorry if i am all over the place but sometimes it can't be helped!

very good videos, thank you!

i have to get back to this, when i first saw this video i was wondering about the bird's wings, (but i loved its rendition of the famous poem!) and i asked around a bit and most didn't seem to know, but someone said they thought they were just wet, i then noticed the outside was wet and the hair atop its head seems a bit mussed, but i still couldn't get a good look, but they seemed to think they could see its wings okay….but again when i look, i am again not sure. that part doesn't really seem to sit that well with me, but i still love the bird! i have been somewhat fascinated with ravens for a while,,,i don't remember ever having seen one in real life.

maybe i am getting into something i don't understand as i have never had a pet bird! and i have known of a few people who have had pet birds and they love their birds!

i don't know!

(there i go just thinking out loud again…)

I was entertained. I will remain an atheist but support this effort as well! Of course in my dream there would be minions at his feet gnawing on the flesh of aborted fetus', but, I always get excessive?

haha….well i know you always got a way with words too.

i do appreciate the point that is being made (at least how i seem to understand it), though i don't remember ever having expressed myself as colorfully as any of that.

really got a kick out of the video.

i am just me

I've seen them doing this on livestreams and also on rooftops and even sliding down the roof, running back up and doing it again and again. Crows and ravens are really smart birds. And fun! :)
