How can you tell its lynx tracks ?

i am not really sure that they are! oh and when i say lynx i mean the smaller lynx (or bobcat, which is a member of the lynx family) i use those names interchangeably and it probably would have been clearer for me to say bobcat, but it just came out lynx. but anyway, i don't really know if that is what it is, the tracks were not clear enough to make a real good guess , but they were just so odd, not something i am used to seeing and that is what got my attention, but they looked like they could be from a lynx. (?)

anyhow, funny enough to find this:

the more i think about it, the more i am pretty sure it was probably a bobcat (how is that for certainty?)
they looked pretty much like large cat prints, and the arrangement in the snow, the paws were like together together together, like they were bounding.

not used to seeing cat prints that big

On one hand I think it's exciting to have a bobcat roaming around. On the other I think it's also somewhat scary.

My big news is that while drinking my coffee on the porch this morning two owls swooped over my head. I think they were playing. I see them frequently but they usually don't get that close.

No Lynx, No Owl, but we did have a mouse in the kitchen yesterday, I did feel guilty and don't have anything against mice, I just don't want an infestation in my house. RIP Mouse :( .

Any how, I have been busy of late, being ill over Christmas has left me behind with my latest essay (2000 more words by the 10th :? )

But I hear this on the radio to day and it made me laugh. It was one of the songs during a topical comedy news show on the radio, so if you don't wan't to listen to the show you need to slid the time bar over to 15min the song is called " I'm gonna have to learn how to play mind craft " it made me laugh because I can soooo relate

It reminded me of this I posted up a while ago

When I went to copy and past the last one this was on the right suggestion list
It reminded me of agnes' post NO UNDER 18's TO CLICK THIS LINK.......I MEAN IT!!!

yes I agree the "over 18" clip is tongue in cheek if not a little crude ( but I have have been buried under reams and reams of academic reading and clicked because curiosity got the better of me and it did make me smile. But I would argue that if any owner of such equipment were able achieve the questionings in the clip it would be suggested they were indeed strangely talented, either that or they really needed to see a specialist doctor.

I did get to read your make under dolls. I really liked them, they too make me smile as I recall being given some doll when I was younger and not having much money took to making some clothes for them with scraps of material, and being very proud of my sewing skills once finished. Thank you for the happy trip down memory lane.

The Genesis clip was really good, I loved watching spitting image (the puppets from another political comedy show) when I was younger.

Keep Well and Happy
Me

on a perkier note i guess (is one way of putting it i suppose) and speaking of whimsical, a few winters ago after a substantial snowfall, someone (or some individuals) got it in their minds to erect a giant penis with balls made out of firmly packed snow and the obvious effort that went into it is a lot of what made it so funny. there it was in plain sight, all turgid and erect, right on the median. alas, it wasn't there very long, by the next day it had been reduced to a pile of snow.
a humorous (even if cheeky) early sign of spring? i suppose? i guess?

anyhow, you keep well and happy too.

Good to see you Beverley. Glad you're feeling better. 2000 words, yikes. I thought about grabbing a book and counting words to see how many pages that is but quickly changed my mind. I don't think I have the patience.

Agnes and Beverly you two have been busy. I will try to catch up later.

This one is for someone M.I.A. Understand you are busy. Just want to make you smile.

Keep well and happy from me too.

Well here's another.

Agnes, I looked up bobcat. For some reason I was thinking a smaller semi domesticated cat. What was I thinking! Be careful.
