i remember a while back here, i recalled a time while hula-hooping (about 7 years old) ? a kid approached me and asked, "are you a girl or a boy?" i was surprised a bit but answered, "i'm a girl."

later someone here says, (probably his intensions were good) something like, "i hope that wasn't too painful for you."

i was surprised to hear that really, it really wasn't, at all.

while pondering i neglected to say, that i kind of wore it as a badge of honor (?) at the age of 7
whatever that means, still i felt like no less a girl.

anyway, this was the song…which i love

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BE5YzRr9yPo

I love this song!

besides that i do appreciate when clothes that i buy fit well (i do!) (seems a universal thing)….and while i do love the song…i do! (like i have said)

but the lyric about the boy saying, "and i have lost some kindness, but i was a girl, too."

i really do love the song, and thank you dar williams!!

but most of all that part makes me think about, the possibility that it could read like :

female=kindness
male=meanness

i never thought that way. i always saw it as kind of an individual thing.

males or females can be blankety-blank jack holes, and shady

anyhow, i just wanted to say that?

I agree, women can be equally as mean as men. I don't think gender has any bearing on this issue. This song is one of the first songs your posted when I joined Arlo.net. I loved it and was very impressed with your musical knowledge from the get-go. I have to say G1 is pretty darn nifty too.
