and thanks for the tunes

Can't believe you've never had trouble with critters before. I had feisty squirrels, and possums. They all love bird seed and wil chew through steel to get to it.

there have always been critters o'plenty, (though that one year not long ago it seemed all the squirrels had vanished for a few months….that was spooky).

of course at some point in time i remember looking out and seeing a hawk the size of a large cat sitting on the fence, right there! they are an amazing sight

but anyway, there just always seemed to be enough incidental stuff and all growing around for them to eat, they really didn't bother the garden much, and there would often be surplus i would give away. there was even a rabbit that showed up for a while and i wondered what would become of my lettuce and such, but he (don't know if it was a he or she really) left the garden veggies alone and seemed to prefer some incidental plant that i don't even know what it was….wish i would have researched it.

yeah, raccoons and squirrels can be feisty, but possums generally (that i have seen) are pretty easy going (that is if they are not cornered or generally feeling threatened). sure, the first one i ever saw when i was a teen looked startling enough (what in the world is that?), but eventually came to understand them a little better,,,,,actually haven't seen a possum in a while, but have on occasion followed one around a bit (almost like chasing in slow motion) (not crowding it though) , remember one going up a tree to about eye level and turning to look at me and me going on about how purdy it is, "how purdy you are….so boodasull…." of course they just look at me like i am not quite right in the head.

but anyhow, when i see buildings being fit across the landscape like puzzle pieces, i have to wonder what influence that has had on these changes i have seen.

Agnes, poor critters are losing their homes. You have a displaced critter orphanage. I live in a small community outside of the city. A very wooded area. It's like living in a forest preserve. I like the privacy. Nice to walk out in my jammies. There are many stray animals. Any food I put out is quickly consumed.

I was looking for a song I like and came
across this. Different, but I like it. Bet you'll
figure out the song I was looking for, lol.

Goodnight everyone.

My finger is faster than my brain. Edited to correct spelling and utube link. Thank you Agnes.
