I've had 4 people so far say something like - "Wish we were going to the Berkshires this weekend" and I have to say that it seems so sad without celebrating the "Tail gate on Church gigs Sunday". So to Larry - the perennial boy scout who always remembers the coffee pot, the people who have shown up once, The folks who come from far away, The Trilogy ;), the core group of Blunderites, Gay, Dennis, Todd and all the rest - I am thinking of you and wish we were all together. Those were truly some of the happiest of times for me. Maybe next year! Love Y'all. Reg

I've been thinking about our tailgate parties, too. Feels so weird to be home this weekend. I may have to bake some cookies.....

Why it's Yom Kipur weekend! I thought everyone in Blunderland knew that by now!!

Reg/Judy - shows you how out of it I've been, i didn't even realize that there was no Revival (and thus no Tailgate) for me to miss this weekend!
The good(?) news is that i'm heading down to Durham to visit my son and daughter-in-law, so would have had a 'good' excuse anyway!
Life has been upside down these past few months. One day when I have the time maybe I'll write about it.
Suffice to say, family stuff comes first.
The good news? I've got really nice tickets for Carnegie, and I have every intention of being there this year, so the cookies better be baked!

Hugs to you all. Sorry you're not all congregating, but I don't understand why you all didn't just plan to tailgate in front of the suck-n-sew?

Well, I am still kind of a noob here. I was not aware that this weekend was Yom Kippur nor did I know that there was any sort of get together for said holiday. I now consider myself informed.

Arnie--I actually went to see Linda and Larry at the Suck & Sew on Monday! Have fun in Durham this weekend!

FilthyBill--For years, Arlo gave 3 benefit concerts at the Guthrie Center one weekend in October, usually Columbus Weekend. Blunderites from all over the planet would converge on the Berkshires, and we'd have a tailgate party across the street from the GC on Sunday morning/afternoon. That's what we're missing.

I stopped by the church the day of one of his shows a couple of years back. I was in the area for wedding and decided to come by and see the famed site first hand but I didn't have tickets for the show so I didn't stick around. I just took some pics and headed home.

Is ADG no longer doing those shows? I was hoping to someday get there to see one. A bit of a dream of mine actually.

Some years we're restricted from doing actual shows in the area because we're doing gigs at real venues nearby. This is one of those years. Btw, there's cheap camping at The Buck.

I would LOVE to camp out. Unfortunately my girlfriend is disabled and that would not be an option.
