We wanted to let the new folks on here know and remind the Blunderites that the tickets for Carnegie will be going on sale in just a few weeks! Guthrie Center members get their notices before anyone else on the list. In order to get Priority Notification and to buy tickets before the big mailing goes out you have to be a current Guthrie Center member.

Become a member online at GuthrieCenter.org or call George or Deb at The Guthrie Center (413) 528-1955

For those of you who are new, Arlo has an annual concert at Carnegie Hall in New York on the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving. This is a long-time tradition for many folks and families and tickets go fast! Rising Son Records will handle the pre-sale tickets which are the best seats available. If you'd like to receive updates, make sure you are on our mailing list. Call Cookie in our office (413) 623-6112 and she'll assist you with your "Junk Mail Application".

Thanks!
Cathy

Lorie, from another thread, I think Arlo said that the "Journey On" tour will start in October, 2010.

Hello all!

You know, I digitized Washington County from vinyl a while ago and had in the cd player yesterday. A friend at a Net forum I moderate posted a link to a YouTube video of Pete Seeger's "The Foolish Frog," one thing led to another and before you know it we're all looking at Arlo/Pete video's.

I says to myself, "Self? Go see if Arlo's touring. You're not getting any younger and you promised."

So I did. When the Carnegie gig popped up it hit me, like "a flash, a vision burnt across the clouds."

Gotta see Arlo at Carnegie Hall. Gotta take the family. It's my mission in life.

So here I am. All joined up and ready to go.

8)

Cheers,
Clemsy

Hi Norton! Thanks for the welcome!

Are you kidding? A weekend in The City, at the opening of the Christmas season? With Arlo?

That's too much fun for one person, so you can certainly have some!

Hi Cheryl! Thanks for the welcome.

The turntables aren't that expensive, and the software is pretty intuitive. The issue is time.

BTW, I left the hiss and pop in Washington County. Sometimes I just miss the hiss and pop...

Hey NoW!

Maybe it cuz I'm a "Global Moderator" here. If I was a REAL global moderator, I'd either stop that oil leak or ship it off to London.
