The public relations dept. at BP has listed the top ten reasons that the oil leak is a good thing.

10) Who really likes pelicans anyway?
9) Fish oil is good for you, we are mixing fish and oil for you.
8 ) Oil is now free for anyone that wants to go and collect some at the shore.
7) We are providing clean up jobs!
6)Lubricating the bottoms of fishing boats will increase their service life.
5)We are making the Katrina response look good.
4)The leak lessons the internal pressure of the earth thereby making volcanic eruptions less likely.
3)We have made Sarah Palin almost speechless.
2)When the light is just right, it looks like a giant lava lamp!
And the number one reason the oil leak is a good thing:
It's healthy for the earth to be given an enema once in a while!

The best way I've heard to stop the spill is this: Get a Submarine. Have the CEO of BP drive it right into the middle of the hole.

No they could clean it up with microbs which will eat the oil, and the fish can eat what is left. Tankers sucking up would work too.

My father told me today that the oil made it to the USS Alabama. If that is true, the best oysters in the world (Ceder Point in Mobile Bay) are now inedible.
