:) Thanks Kevin! I was afraid to resurrect the thread, which is a no-no some places, thought maybe I should have read deeper in the forums first, which I'm still doing, to find a better place to start - but, well, hello and happy snow day! Enjoying getting to know the minds of a lot of good posters in this thread, though. Love that when I read stuff that I knew was not right, oh, hey, here came Arlo to save the day. Particularly appreciating HRG's posts, too, been cross-posting some of her links, and A's too, to my facebook page. I'm starting to muddle about in political awareness, finally. Lots of concerns about whether this country's going to survive, about corporate and government miscontrol of our people and resources. Boy they have poisoned the well.

Who are all you people, anyway, though? I feel like I've stumbled into a party where everybody already knows each other and I don't know who anybody is yet. But I like the talk going on. Are y'all musicians, do you know ADG personally, do you know each other, do you mind if strangers come in? Well, I guess that last one's a silly question.

DANG!

I split these messages off from another topic in another forum, but I can't figure out how to rename the topic for its new place!

Welcome Sheila..... good to meet you! Yes, we're all a little nuts here... hope you feel quite at home with us!

Larry? Arnie? Dave? Can you rename this topic to something that makes sense?

Thanks guys! Hello!! I just want to say, the thread I was talking about, where this was before it got moved, was that excellent health care thread that grew out of ADG's awesome initial post a few months back.

Wyldflower, I got to live in Colorado Springs for a bit, what a great place Colorado is! Spent my last weekend there camping with the family at a state park in Aspen right next to a beautiful stream in the yellow trees, meadow and beaver dams nearby, mountain rising sheer up on the other side of the stream. Snowed overnight and got the old tent all wet, but it was nice and warm by noon. Lots of good Rocky Mountain memories, I'd go back in a flash.

:) Yep. I do love it here in Colorado. I moved here from upstate NY about 3-1/2 years ago.

I think you've got more snow there in Alexandria than I've had here all winter in CS (of course there's more up in the mountains, though).
