For those who haven't caught it yet, Amazon.com Auctions has a number of ag things up for auction. There's a clock with a so-so picture and a bunch of "rare, candid" 8 by 10 color glossy photographs. The opening bid price for the photos is generally $8. So far, nobody has bid on any of them. :-) Maybe everyone has figured out that you can just download the pictures. Besides, we've seen better shots. But they're worth the look.

If you missed ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT on July 10 not big deal cuz they have done something very sacrilegious. After usually mentioning our beloved folksinger's birthday on there every July 10 & showing a picture of him along with it. Guess what? Instead of the usual mentioning of all the celebrities having birthdays for July 10 they only mentioned the birthday of some chick I am unfamiliar with named Jessica Simpson & no other celebrities birthdays not even Arlos. (I think she may have something to do with Homer or Bart Simpson I think. I'm not up on today's singers LOL!)

This is sacrilegious to our beloved Uncle Arlo & they should be ashamed of themselves. July 10th is a national holiday! Image

No offense to the kid (they said she was 20) but she probably won't be remembered 100 years from now & Uncle Arlo will.

"When will they ever learn?" Pete Seeger...

They do have this on their site which is nice:

A MENTION OF UNCLE ARLOS BIRTHDAY

Here's their e-mail address: EMAIL HERE

et@pde.paramount.com <et@pde.paramount.com>

& COMPLAIN! (I already wrote them asking them to please ad his birthday back!) We must not let them overlook the worlds greatest singer! Image

Fighting the great fight for all us blunderites... We are here for Arlo & for peace...
