still got 10 minutes on the clock before this birthday goes in the history books (of course in blunderland, the celebration just keeps going until Carnegie Hall at minimum).

thanks folks, a tough birthday this year, with friday the 13th actually coming out on a friday in November of all things, it started out bad... and then sad news coming on Sunday that my mother-in-law had passed away - not really a surprise, more of a blessing in this case, but of course the timing was questionable. In the Jewish religion, we bury our folks as soon as possible, usually just waiting until they're dead... :roll: So in traditional fashion, we had the funeral today for my mom-in-law. It was held at graveside, and the weather was really just wonderful, and a small group of mostly her close family came and said goodbye to a person who unfortunately had stopped being the mother we knew a while back. There were rainbows in the sky which we took as a good omen for her. (they are a result of the impending meteor shower that is supposed to be viewable tonight)
we all then went back to my sister-in-laws house to begin sitting shiva, and the nice thing was everyone who came made sure to wish me a happy birthday. So in a way my mother-in-law threw me a final surprise party!
weird huh?
