I'm sorry I didn't see this when you posted but I'm glad to hear your mom got through surgery and I hope she has a speedy recovery! I'll keep sending vibes till you tell me they're not needed!

They taken my mom off the ventilator and didn't have to do a tracheotomy. She started trying to talk immediately after they removed the vent. Her left arm and leg seem to be paralyzed. It'll be a very slow recovery for her.
