Fuzz have been doing that crapola for yrs. They love harassing innocent folks. Way back in the 70's when I was in high school, I played guitar in a rock group. It was consisted by those of us who took guitar and music in the small private school I went to. Even the guitar teacher a dude with long hair was in it. The school was located in an old house and run by an old elderly lady who turned out to be a distant cousin of mine. Well one day we kids were practicing and playing our music in the basement and a bunch of kids were watching us. We'd do this alot of times. A few times we even used strobe lights for fun.

Well some folks in the neighborhood could hear our music for 6 blocks or more & thought we were disturbing the peace & called the fuzz. So fuzz comes & tells us to stop. Kids aren't amused by it & complain. Well we keep on playing, Fuzz comes back again & gives us hard time & tell us we better stop of else. Folks have been complaining they can hear us for 6 blocks or more. Whoop de do. Big deal. The fuzz comes 5 times doing that mess. Finally the 5th time they came, they told us we had better turn it down or they were gonna arrest us for disturbing the peace, and make us go to the big jail in downtown Richmond and we'd have to pay $500 bail. None of us had that kinda bread & sure didn't want our folks to be p'd off. So we had to turn it down. Kids were cussing at the fuzz and telling them how they were harassing innocent kids. Funny thing was I was playing acoustic guitar. To mike me they had to put a mike in front of the soundhole of my guitar.


Then there was the time we played a talent contest at school and won. The money was just enough for each of us to get 50 cents each. Some photgs showed up & took our pic & it got on pg 2 of the Richmond paper. Had a caption under it something like Local rock band wins school talent contest or something like that. Kids started dancing on chairs to our music and parents were looking like what in the world. The elderly lady who ran the school got ticked off thinking the dancing was indecent & yelling at them to stop. LOL!

Another memorable gig was when we played in the school Christmas program. They had it in the Baptist church across the street. We were warned not to be too loud cuz the Baptists might get p'd off if we did. So we went for a more folk sound.

So yeah fuzz have been doing this kinda mess for yrs. They're just being a real pain in the...

I dunno. Hell may have a special place for this guy.
I can see him at the Fire and Brimstone Theatre in Hades at a K.C and the Sunshine Band concert, where Roseanne opens the show by singing the national anthem, and he is sitting between Yoko Ono who is singing along on one side, and Fran Drescher with a bottle of laughing gas on the other.
Now THAT is my vision of hell!
( And oh yeah, the only munchies they got at the food stands is vegemite)

And my experience was just the opposite. We were visiting my cousin in Sarasota, Florida and he insisted for us to come to this beach because we would love the drum circle "beatniks" there every weekend. Sounded like fun so we packed up for a picnic. At first on the beach was just us and an Amish family. Then we realized to our chagrin, that we happened there on the big spring break weekend! Police were there arresting drunken 17 year olds whose parents should know better than to let their snot nosed kids go to Sarasota for spring break. I think every man- and woman-in-blue only wished for a bunch of long haired freaky people with banjos and bamboo flutes.

I dunno. In bands I was in if the police did not come, we weren't loud enough.

The police who get sent to patrol the beach should be musicians and set up their own little jam circle......it would be great for PR and perhaps inspire more unity and trust......it would make them better role models for sure......
