I'm just catching up to this thread, but Wyld told me a little bit about what's going on. I vaguely recall George saying that his Facebook, or The GC's Facebook, had an updated schedule. Might want to check over there, too... just to be sure.

I feel so bad for everyone... plans, hopes, looking forward to seeing each other, and of course the costs incurred... especially now in this tight economy.

Cheryl, I wish there was something I could do to help you get through this really difficult time. Primula, glad that the tumors were benign.

Thank you all for the good vibes and for the reminders to be positive. We took it to heart; Jay sweet-talked an American Airlines agent into switching our flights without any penalties. And we got the motel room changed, too. So, except for closing the violin shop for three days in our busiest season, it's all good! And maybe we can find a trustworthy/needy music student at one of the colleges who'd like to earn a few bucks those three days and keep us sort-of-open. (Heck, these days, maybe we can find a professional musician who'd want to do it.) Something will work on out that, too--I'm sure of it.

Let's see ... October 16 ... that's 178 days ... or 25 and a half weeks ... or 5 months, 3 weeks, and 4 days --- we're closer to it than we are to the last Fall Revival. Yippee!!!!!

Jodi Stewart - of Jodi, Denny & Lena - said something like that to me a while ago - That we are on the "looking forward" side of the year.

That's good you were able to get things worked out where you can go to the church shows. Good luck with getting someone to run the violin shop. Hopefully things will work out okay for everyone else in going. We can hope...

At first I was mad. Now I'm just hurt on behalf of all of us, and not sure what to do--try to reschedule the flight again, or just blow the whole thing off.

Oh man, not again. I wonder why they'd change them again knowing how much trouble folks were having trying to change plans to go? Good luck. Prayers just said for ya'll & vibes sent...
