Hanukkah has begun with sundown; the Winter Solstice was this morning (except for our upside-down friends, who got the Summer Solstice instead). It's Christmas week. In exactly 30 days, we will have a new president (let the healing begin!). For many, 2008 looks best in the rearview mirror. It's not a holiday season of unbridled mirth and joy, but I hope we can take comfort in our various traditions (or lack thereof) and in each other. A blessed and hopeful everything!
