i don't know how many times i thought of posting this and didn't...i don't know why?

i remember todd once saying something like, that he was an irish german mix which made him about as dumb as a box of hammers...but with tenacity!

now any of us who remembers todd knows how dumb he wasn't, but i always loved that.

...i guess there are a lot of us mutts out there (for me irish german isn't even the half of it!), although my best friend from school, she was something like german swedish...not very mixed at all! and now that i am thinking about it, she and her family were atheists, while i was raised as christian...even so, one day (we were 14 i think?) both of us were crazy enough that we got the idea to hold a seance in a dark storage area of her house, a lit candle between us, holding hands, trying to summon up jimi hendrix...and you talk about sincerity! the flame did flicker once and of course we gasped! "ji-mi hhhen-drix!" had that candle snuffed out all together by the force of our own breath we would have screamed out of there! not much else happened though...i guess that isn't the way spirits work...i guess they (the spirits) were probably standing there looking at us with their arms akimbo thinking, "what the hell kind of comic books have they been reading?"

i believe that is the only time i ever attempted such a thing

I see this in my line of work all the time. It begins with one little innocent song, and then progresses inevitably to the harder stuff, up all night surfing youtube for that perfect song.....
