Don Beck, a very nice person who frequents Blunderland every so often - (usually accompanied by his niece Jess) had surgery today. He is in a hospital in Philadelphia. The surgery not an emergency - it was scheduled. It's the 2nd in a series of 3 Surg's - the first one was just before the tailgate. That is all I know at this point. Please keep him and Jess - who is a little worried tonight - in your thoughts. I will let you know whats going on, as I know it.

Blundevibes are certainly going to Don--he's a great guy! And they're going to you, too, Jess--and if you suddenly feel less alone even if you are, those are the Blunderhugs we're sending.

From what Jess told me, Uncle Beck is back at home and she had talked to him and he is doing OK. I haven't spoken to him myself yet, hoping tomorrow if I get a couple of minutes at work.

hey guys!i am Jess...my uncle beck is home and well(so he says)!!!i just about cryed when i read this thred.its so sweet you guys are sending vibes!!!thank you very much.last weekend my mom my friend chloe and her mom and dad all went to go see him in lancaster where he lives,we brought him comfort food(chili,and soup).thank you all for doing this for us!the vibes are working...after he gets healed from this 1 he will be headed again for the operating room for his hopefully last sergery for a while.THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
