You may recall they were for my mother's house which is about a half mile from mine. So, you might wanna choose one of the larger warheads if you plan to take me out too. :) GO GIANTS! GO BARACK!

And no disrespect meant by my capitalist statement. I was only implying that my livleyhood is very much tied to the economy.

We are a family business, we are capitalists, too and our livelyhood is also very much tied to the economy. I can show you the books... I can prove it. Things are kinda slow these days.

GO COWBOYS!

I think McCain was just endorsed by the National Bancruptcy Attorney's Association. Things are looking up for them if he wins.

Jay? Go Cowboys???? Didn't I just see you not long ago looking dapper in a Giants jersey? :D

It's what happens when you lose a bet with a Giant's fan. Remember that playoff game last year? You know, the one where Jerry Jones was handing out tickets to the NFC championship game BEFORE the Cowboys got there......and didn't? :D

Jay IS a good sport though! I was much happier to see Jay in a Giants jersey than I would have been if I had seen JohnC in a Cowboys jersey.

As part of that same family business (and the bookkeeper) I can attest that our books look good when the Democrats have enough power to actually have an effect and that the more effect the Republicans have, the worse our books look.

I also was dragged in on that bet, and I wore my (Regina's) Giants shirt at the tailgate. Just the other day, we agreed that if the Universe decrees that we only get one win this year, we'll happily take it next Tuesday and wear the Giants shirts again next year. (I THINK Jay agreed on that one.)

Talk about scare tactics....

The McCain supporters where I work (and there are tons of them) are all freaking out proclaiming the end of the world next Tuesday and telling everyone their 401K's will be taken from them and redistributed to "those who need it more". I began telling people that was absurd and I was labeled a "flamer". I just said "have you looked at the value of that 401K recently? I think somebody already took it from you!" THen they started off on how America is electing Democratic Socialists. Their draws dropped when I said Bernie Sanders isn't that scary and that I have traveled in Sweden and that predominately Democratic Socialist country seems like a nice place with friendly people (who actually like Americans). THey just looked at me. I said stop overreacting! I know you are Engineers and you think you make a lot of money but you really don't make that much! Right now today they are telling you that you are required to change your health coverage in the next week and it will cost you significantly more! Some people don't even have an option to have health insurance!

They just look at me and then start saying the end of the world is coming next Tuesday!

Fruitloops I tell ya! A bunch of fruitloops!

Isn't that the truth!! I have been working daily as a volunteer in our local Obama office here in Virginia. The things we hear and see the other side (I can't call them "the Right" because they are so damn wrong!) doing to scare people and suppress votes are unlawful in some cases and definitely not the kind, generous and loving acts of the Christ these people profess to follow.

The voices that have been calling Obama and his ideas "socialist" are, for the most part, christian. Not all, but most. I'm not challenging anyone's beliefs, just pointing out obvious inconsistencies. I would like everyone to open their bibles and read the greatest and most famous socialist speech ever given. Find it yet? It was given by a man named Jesus. Need another hint? It's called "The Sermon on the Mount". Go ahead, read it, it won't bite.....or will it?????

We'll see what happens Tuesday. I do believe if Obama gets in there the end of the world could come quicker tho. Who knows...

No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
I think that qualifies me to become vice president.
