I'm going to introduce myself here, because I have a feeling that I may have met some of you at the concert on Friday night. My name is Sue and I've been following Arlo since I was 15. My mother raised me to listen to the "greats" and of course Arlo was one of them. I spent my summers in Stockbridge (my father has been ushering at Tanglewood for 40+ years and built a cabin in the woods). I have been fortunate enough to have seen/heard Arlo many times before Friday, but I have never seen him at the Church. My husband and I have two little girls and we can't always get to Stockbridge as easily as we did before kids (we live in CT 45 minutes outside of NYC)......
I have actually been on this forum since 1999, but have never posted and as you can see, I have finally joined!
To those that I met on Friday night, it was great to meet you. I was the one who stuck around after the concert with my husband and we ran into again in GB yesterday.....
Peace,
Sue

Sorry I missed the Blundergate. 3:30 pm and I'm still shinglin' (break time!) and the scaffolding has to go back this week. There's always next year. Well, not always but there maybe next year. I don't plan on doing anymore roofing ever again. A thirty year warranty should do until I'm outta here!

well unfortunately my surprise plans for this weekend became a surprise for me as well... I ended up havin' emergency oral surgery on Friday afternoon, and there was no way I was in any condition to play where's Arnie? this weekend. I knew exactly where I wuz... but I knew where I wanted to be... :(

So, sorry if I disappointed anyone... on to Carnegie!

Welcome sue.

It's hard to imagine that you've been lurking here for 9 years!

Amazing!

Glad you spoke up.

Bummer, Arnie. Feel better.

Now THAT'S weird! Did you know that on the same day, the McCain camp sent Sarah Palin in for oral surgery? Yup, they sewed her mouth shut.

Hugs to you Arnie! I'm sooo there with ya!!! Will be calling two this morning. One call to my regular dentist to refill my pain meds then calling the oral surgery guy to set up an appt. Won't be able to afford my favorite type of sedation this time so it won't be as smooth as my last appt. When they knock ya out totally...the surgery only takes one minute!

I'm so sorry you had to have surgery, but glad it's behind you!

Poor Arnie, I'm hoping you feel better by now and won't have to go through that again.

hey, did anyone else notice the lack of mead this year, or was it just me? :D

I did learn something this weekend that Sarah Palin helped me to learn.
If a group of blunderites are gathered for a group picture, and the smiles are not up to par, and you need bigger ones, just say " I can see Russia from my house". It worked every time. :)
