that has got to be a quintessential sign of a true blunderite!

it's almost like you forgot them in the coffee shop, or left them on the bus one day while heading to a show or something...

"i know we put them somewhere jay... check that bass fiddle again!"

Hey! Lighten up, Arnie! I just got tired of waiting for the next answer. Over a week has gone by! Where the heck is Larry? Is he in summer rerun land? Not to mention, this game has taken a turn for the wurst! So, don't kielbasa the messenger. I wasn't looking for a pate on the back nor was I being a brat. Liver and learn. Hold the mayo!

I have always wanted to try wiener schnitzel. Not sure I can get around the veal though.
I understand if you have it in Germany, it's about $7 average.
Go to a German restaurant here in the states....jumps up to about $19. :D

Hi Stephanie, a Wiener Schnitzel, as you said made of veal, is more expensive here too, costs about 13€ which comes to 19$. What we eat over here most of the time is Schnitzel Wiener Art, meaning a Schnitzle made in the way of a Wiener and this is made of pork, therefore cheaper about 7€. Or in the XXXL version a little more. http://www.derwaldgeist.de/cms/website.php

I could likely handle the pork over the veal. My Frankfurtian friend didn't mention the pork version. I also forgot about euro conversion.....yikes! :D I have only found a couple of places here in
Austin that serves it.
All the little towns South of here are very much German. Still hard to find a good schnitzel.

That last photo...bottom left.....now that's got to be like the Superbowl of schnitzel !!!
Thank you for the link and the clarification!
Einen Schönen Tag! (If it's a rainy one...please send it this way!)

You are...hands down...the Wiener in this war of words!
Bei Mir Bist Du Schon 8) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Vvo3MaFcxw

Please pardon this commercial for wunderbar German food combined with a little 40's music.
We now return you to your game show....

Instead of the Jane Fonda one this is the Southern German (Bavarian) version of an aerobic workout.

Maybe it's the dark beers that make them so frisky, not the frankfurters.

Now all the long hard work I've put in teaching my grandkids to quit slapping each other has been shot to hell. Next thing you know they'll be wantin' leather britches!

I mean the new tv game show don't start until september, but just so Zap don't blow a gasket:

the category is: The Olympics

The answer is:

While the athletes in China are competing for Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, the workers who built the venues were awarded these.
