Hi Stephanie, a Wiener Schnitzel, as you said made of veal, is more expensive here too, costs about 13€ which comes to 19$. What we eat over here most of the time is Schnitzel Wiener Art, meaning a Schnitzle made in the way of a Wiener and this is made of pork, therefore cheaper about 7€. I could likely handle the pork over the veal. My Frankfurtian friend didn't mention the pork version. I also forgot about euro conversion.....yikes! I have only found a couple of places here in
Austin that serves it.
All the little towns South of here are very much German. Still hard to find a good schnitzel.
