lotsa hugs for sherry today!

every day that I hear the Mets are still in first place, I imagine sherry with a big smile... and every day the Mets are anywhere other than first place, i look for a place to duck and hide!

You gotta be havin' a good summer so far, so the birthday celebration will be a plus! Lotsa chonklit cake will be consumed! Life is good!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! Even if you can't 'go home again' it's nice to be able to at least visit!

Hope everyone is doing well! We are having a blast!

We are having dinner tonight at one of our favorite local places with about a dozen or so friends.

I am looking forward to what the next year will bring!

Sherry - You're always home with friends....Happy Birthday my dear friend.

I think I mailed your card today- or possibly yesterday I never know what the he11 day it is anymore...but you're used to my cards arriving sometime during the event "season" by now!

Glad you had a marvelous dinner. I wish I could give you a big birthday hug. Somebody mentioned that we'd be up your way in at least 70 days as of today - that's like around the corner.

PS

Im still reveling in my surprise visit. Wishing I could relive it in slow mo. I think Im still in shock tho!! (I told Sherry once a while ago that I had a favorite thought of her "dropping in" in on me at work while they were traveling from LA to MA.) Not long ago these two wonderful people went quite a bit out of the way to surprise me (except the idiot guard (Gomer Pyle type) almost blew it). It was the best hour Ive ever had at that job!!! :) :) and then some.
