Former Bush press secretary and author of the book "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception", Scott McClellan, is to testify before a House committee next week about whether Vice President Dick Cheney ordered him to make misleading public statements about the leaking of CIA agent Valerie Plame's identity. It's well past due that hearings like this took place. Better late than never I suppose. But then, again, try saying that to the families of service people and Iraqi civilians who have lost loved ones to these bastards' lies. Rumor has it (on MSNBC) that the Bush White House may try to keep him from testifying. That goes without saying. As an MSNBC guest said, nobody died from Watergate. A lot of people have died from Iraq-gate. Too late to impeach? I think not!!!! These a-holes need their own Nuremberg for war crimes.

I wonder if even Jesus could forgive what they have done :?:
And that goes for the ones who support them too :!:
I have no respect for anyone that supports them -
They are the enemy of MY LAND, my Grandchildren,
May They All Burn In ..............

Oh Well

I would love to see some real investigations into this so called "administration"! Maybe this is a start? I would also like to see an investigation into the manipulation machinery of and by "Nazi friendly" information outlets (say FOX for example). Who is Herr Goebels anyway? Why did he promote all these awful things? I feel like saying America has the most malleable population on the planet but I know we are really no different than any where else, all populations are quite malleable, the question is, did we really put in place a system that allows us to learn from our mistakes? And grow? Or is that great product of the Enlightenment, The American Constitution, just another scrap of paper used for cleaning messes in the out house?

Will America expose its dirty little secrets? We were fooled again, will we remain fools?

It's not just Fox News and the media. Our wonderful Congress has had its collective thumbs up their asses, including and especially the Democrats. Nancy Pelosi, our House Speaker and Dem, has said that she will veto the latest move to impeach Bush for crimes and misdemeanors (set forth so succinctly by former presidential candidate and present Representative Dennis Kucinich this past Tuesday). http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/06/11/ ... h.impeach/

As a commentator on MSNBC said last night, this Congress will be historically remembered for letting Bush & Co. trample on the Constitution and civil rights and get away with literal crimes against law and humanity. Our "founding fathers" had thought that they'd built in fail-safe, fool-proof safeguards into our system to avert disasters like Bush. NOT!!! Guess they didn't take overwhelming mass stupidity into account. Were they here today, I believe the one thought on their minds would be WTF?!?!?!

It will be up to the United Nations, which is a higher authority than D.C. (which we will be hard pressed to tell dc that), to give Bush his day in court.

I would like to see Bush impeached, but what if is was really and it stuck. Then we would have president Cheney. That would be worse wouldn't it? Or could both be impeached? I think either way it is improbable.

Bush also does not think for himself, so while he acted on the directions (If someone tells you to jump off a cliff are you going to?) I don't necessarily think he thought of it on his own and there are more fish to fry.

Impeachment doesn't mean they get thrown out of office. Clinton was impeached if you remember (War and killing is okay ....... sex is bad, bad, bad!!!! What an f***ed up Congress!). Nixon resigned.

There are already articles of impeachment against Cheney... presented by Kucinich last year... and then referred to Judiciary Committee, just like the articles against Bush.
Both can (and should) be impeached... Next in line for the presidency is Speaker of the House (currently Nancy Pelosi).
How about a really quick impeachment once the next congress is sworn in on January 3? There are sure to be more dems in congress then, and MAYBE some of them will have the cojones to do what is right.

I'm wondering if we can't tell the deception from the deception? Will this ever happen? Why go after them now, why has it not happened already?

My goodness, look at the shape we are in, where is the plan to fix the mess we are in? Is the next step major worldwide depression?

Corporate welfare. And they just keep sucking us dry and not contributing. We are getting less revenue from corporations now then in the 1950's. And we, as a country, go on like sheep. Baa.

Being led off a cliff. Baa...
