Larry & Linda & Family - Nothing that can be said right now will help, I know that. But all you did so that he was with you and not alone...is so important. Please remember you're not alone now (that will help).

Our thoughts and a few tears are with you. Reg & JohnC

No words can say what I would like to say Larry. I have not lost either of my parents yet so have no idea how it feels and am sure it effects everyone in a very personal and different way.
So I'll just send you a big warm hug. You can keep it for as long as you need it.

Our hearts are with you, Larry and Linda. You have a hard time still to go through, but it will also be a time for remembering all the good times with Dad and all the considerable good that he did for others. Hugs and tears--

Jay and Shelley

My condolences. I've lost both parents and know all too well how it feels. My heart goes out to you.

Thanks to you all. Linda posted this thread this morning. It is with both saddness and relief that we let dad go. We were told that the stubborn Irishman would last 3 to 5 days after his last dialisys treatment, he lasted more than 7.

for front-half's dad:

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

I think Todd and my Dad would/will get along.

At my parents winter home in the Florida Keys, they were in a small gated community where almost everyone had a golfcart to get around. My dad had a small skull and crossbones pirate flag on his. Some old lady in the community asked something like " Can he have one of those, I think it's terrible?!". My Dad's solution to this concern was to buy a bigger pirate flag. Yup, Todd would like my dad.

So sorry Larry that he's no longer with us. He is now with the others.

Do celebrate his life.
