Thanks Shelley for the info on Prosper, Texas seems very interesting and I did not realize some celebrities were raised there. After all I am just a Connecticut Yankee living in King Arthur's closet :)

the power is back on! (the storms yesterday knocked it out)

i read somewhere about a local band from where i was growing up referred to as the poor man's thirteenth floor elevators :)

I always loved their version of that song. I once saw Buck Owens sing it on Hee-Haw in the 60's & thought wow, he's singing a Beatles song. I later found out he was the one who origionally did it. Thanks for posting that one... :)
