Similar to an underwater guitar, I had a friend who, after having a party in his back yard, left his Aria 12-string acoustic outside overnight (soundhole facing up) and it rained. Amazingly, the next morning he poured the water out of it and it was okay. Well, until he had it out at another party and somebody sat on it.
