Random you say? Ok.

We live lakefront and get geese in our yard. Our dog likes to eat goose poop. When it's frozen in the winter, we call it "poopcicles".

I actually stood up for George W. Bush the other day. I was having a conversation with a friend who told me " George W. Bush ain't fit to live with the pigs and he eats shit on rye".
I told him that George was fit to live with pigs and that he didn't like rye.

I found out that those "Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy" spots on Saturday Night Live are actually written by a guy named Jack Handy. Many people. myself included, assumed this was some made up name.

I was born on the same day as thousands of other people in 1957, and not one of them has ever sent me a birthday card.

Ike was the president when I was born, and he warned us about guys like dubya.

If the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body and the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body, how is that republicans are not democrats and democrats are not republicans if they happen to be left handed?

How random? I was born too. I also have a left hand. Plus, I like Ike. I think. And, I have a right brain that began forming in 1957.

Did you ever notice it is a right handed world? Books- right handed. Writing- right handed, or you smear ink. Transmissions- right handed in America. Doors- right handed. Turn tables- right handed.

Hmmm...

You left out those lovely chairs that we have in school where the right arm of the chair is big enough to be the desk top. Left handed students have a problem writing comfortably. Hmmmmm.... I wonder how this applies to NCLB?

Yes, as a lefty, I've noticed these things for years. You can actually get left-handed sizzers and pens and pencels and a lot of other stuff but they are expensive. Rulers are printed backward too.

No where but here could one ask questions such as the ones that I did and get answers that almost make sense.

Politcians are neither left handed or right handed, they are underhanded.

Sewing machines are designed for left handed people, sort of by mistake, sort of.

My store is on an east-west state highway, and without telling where they are coming from, people on the phone asking directions very often ask me " Are you on the right side or the left side?" Of course then I have to ask "are you driving eastbound or westbound?" Many don't know.

I'm convinced that men like myself really don't lose hair, it simply migrates to other places. The hair that used to be on that thinning monk spot on top of my head can now be found in my ears and eyebrows.

I hold to the same theory as it relates to grey matter. ....it migrates from the inside of the head to the outside, as any of us greybeards will tell you.

If, as suggested above handwriting was designed for right handed people, how do you explain Hebrew, Chinese and Da Vinci?

I think if you paint the white keys black and the black keys white, you got one, but I'm not sure.

At the end of the error, is Darth Cheney gunna throw Dubya down into the plasma energy engourged bowels of some spaceship and die? The Farce is strong with him after all.

With apologies to Steve Forbert, would you believe me if I said " I'll tell you truely that I sometimes lie"?

Is anyone really sure that Zap's green crunchy brownies are not made from soylent green?

Well, first of all, Dubya is not fit to live with my piggies! I would not subject the girls to that unworthy piece of stagnant pond bottom. And I do not make green brownies (too expensive these days) and even if I did they would not contain soylent green as I'm a veggie. Odd that you mentioned Soylent Green as I was just discussing that movie with a couple of people this past Sunday ..... random synchronicity!?!

I write left handed but do everything else right handed, oh but some things I do ambidexterously (did I spell it right Shel?)
I guess that's what's wrong with me and why I fit in here?

OH yeah I was back at college a few years ago and if I was lucky I sometimes found one of those chairs with the built in left arm to put your writing pad on but not every lecture room had one. Pain in the arse!

I thought maybe they were celery brownies. You know, for people who live in Celery time.
