I predict that one of two things will happen in the fallout from this...

1) Merck & Co. Inc. will offer proof that falling disease rates are due to the pharmaceuticals/drugs present in our water and we will have to pay them for this "value" added to our drinking water.

2) Experts will offer proof that these compounds and/or combinations of these drugs...

Harm humans - because water, unlike most specific foods, is consumed in sizable amounts every day and even the very small concentrations of drugs in our water are causing very large impacts to human health and to aquatic organisms, and we will have to pay to have them removed from our drinking water.

2) Aerojet (Polluter Of Rancho Cordova Drinking Water Since 1953... Mommy my water tastes like rocket fuel. - Sooner or later you'll own General.)

I know that the many steps needed to reply to the above issues regarding our advancement toward extinction require devoting a little time and some attention.

The lack of dialogue here seems emblematic to the way our general society deals with these issues as well.

We are too busy to step back and determine where things like these should fall in prioity.

So many people are either apathetic or unaware of the seriousness of the many issues like these that happen across our country and around the world.

Maybe we can't stop global pollution, global warming and the extinction of humankind.

It just brings to mind that just about every drop of water on this planet has been through other living creatures or plants. Most of what we're seeing in the water is what got flushed at some point.
I'm wondering about the distillation process...would that leave the contaminants behind? I know it's impractical for bathing or washing purposes, but it might be the answer for drinking water.
