Saw an unfamiliar folk singer wandering around town Saturday (he was kinda cute), it was the second day of the Ark's Annual Folk Festival.
Didn't get to go this year. If anyone else went, I'd love to hear how it was.

We had more snow too. Digging out my car is not on my fun list of things to do.

How big of a freezer do you need to keep enough snow for July?

Snow is due here tomorrow night and Friday, for the second time in three days (the third time all winter). We're trying to get it out of the way before the Folkslinger/Blunderite convergence on Bass Hall in Fort Worth next week.

Here in Arkansas we got about an inch of snow-we usually only get ice.

Y'all aren't having snow don't there just to make the Folkslinger and me feel at home are you?!

No, Judy, we're really trying our best to get it over with so we can have blue skies and temps in the 70's while you, Arlo, Killer, et al., are here. That's what they're predicting for next week, anyway.

Our news tells us that when you Texans are finished getting it there you are sending it to us,its supposed to intensify on its way here...thanks guys!!!
By the way if anyone is sitting on a few extra tonnes of rock salt and wants to make extra cash,we could use it,seems to be in short supply and roads dept. has ordered more from Chile.Oh well less salt means less rust on the cars .

Too much salt whether on chili or on the roads is bad Larry....I wonder if pickle brine would work on the roads?!?! I doubt it would work on chili,but if you want to try it let us know.

Here in North-East Arkansas we have a forecast of 4-11 inches of snow tonight or tomorrow. We live in AR but are from Missouri-the "show me" state! I will have to see it to believe it.

Our road department usually puts cinders on the road, but I doubt that would work on a bunch of snow. We don't even have salt, except in the chili. My husband makes wonderful chili!

We've got plenty of salt here in No. VA...and no snow! A landscaper friend of mine was sitting on 40 tons of it just before the last ice storm...I think he's praying for another ice storm, so he can get rid of the rest of it.
