Hi kids - Thanks for all the kind words. Im pretty sad today - It's snowing hard up here & the cold Ive been fighting off for days has finally caught up with me. The only time I smiled today was when I heard from my son & you guys.

Michele & I were sitting with her there with her all day yesterday at one point we were looking through her package of cards - all your notes and cards. I mean I knew they were there - I had seen them all before individually, but her stacks of cards that she kept in her drawer - and she kept them all...was just awesome. You all were so good to her.

Michele spent today "making arrangements". I went to work but left at 1 to run some errands too. Tonight Im going to make a photo board for the wake.

The wake is Thursday and the funeral is Friday. We're waiting for some Florida relatives, that may have to drive up because its been hard to get a flight back - because of the holiday weekend.

Michele and I were talking about becoming "50+ yr old orphans" It just feels weird ya know. My bio parents have been gone for YEARS... but I never felt like an orphan before. It's just weird.

Good thing I have you - such a big "Family" out there.

Dont know what else to say - I just wanted to reach out and hug y'all.

Just getting home from the wake (both sessions). I wanted to thank everyone (this is getting to be a habit) for the cards & flowers delivered to the Funeral Home. There was literally a table full of cards.

Mrs.T looked really pretty in a seafoam green gown with champagne color beading on the cuffs and collar. Very classy. Very her.

My friend Viv (you may have met her this Oct) manipulated her lunch to come at 2. My son was there at 7 and my friend/boss Pati - who some of you are getting to know via email etc. dragged her whole family out on this very cold night to support me as well as meet and say good bye to Mrs. T.

Ive heard the expression "Bone Tired" and whatever that means, I believe Im there - Michele is doing - OK. Her daughter has been at her side and her son will be here tomorrow which will be good for her. But there is another Looong day tomorrow so -Im Just wanted to check in.

Back home - Friday afternoon. More thanks for more stuff sent.

I haven't been keeping up lately, but I wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. T was an angel sent to you and now she has gone back home. But she will still be hovering around. You'll feel her presence just when you need her to be there.
