Leo, they're GWB quotes from a countdown desk calendar that a good friend gave me for Christmas; I'm willing to bet they're real--I recognize a lot of them. The calendar doesn't just go through 2008; it goes to January 20, 2009, and there's a quote a day. Those two were on the pages for January 1 and today. It just brightens my day to tear off another page each morning.

The wife and I are planning an "End of GWB" party and I can't wait for it. First it started out as just a hand full of close friends but now it has grown so much that we are trying to figure out where to have it. One of my friends suggest that we should rename the theme to the "End of Evil" party seeing how it also includes the end of his partner in crime "Dick" Cheney. Anyhow, I got a feeling that there will be many celibrations around the world when GWB leaves office. It's a day long in comming.
