Any other Oz Blunderites go to the Crosby, Stills & Nash concerts ? We went to their last event on the Australian tour in Brisbane last night. It was awesome!!!! Their harmonies were great, although we noticed Stephen Stills wasn't as clear as he used to be. Does anyone know if he's had any health problems that might have affected his voice eg. maybe a mild stroke or something? David Crosby was brilliant- fantastic voice; as was Graham Nash. They played for about 2 hours 15 mins, with a short break in the middle. Lots of faves: Long Time Comin', Marrakesh Express, Wooden Ships, Helplessly Hoping, Wasted On The Way, and finishing with Teach Your Children and Woodstock as encores. Would love to have heard Love The One You're With and Suite: Judy Blue Eyes, however the set lists were great anyway. Great night- just the ducks nuts!!!!

I play that Southern Cross song every chance I get on the juke box. I hear there is a southern cross in the sky that you can see from south africa.
I guess when he called his ship music it my have been all he had left.

I didn't go to these shows not living in Oz. I did see CSN at a Farm Aid show with Arlo a few yrs back. They were pretty good & I had a nice time. It was nice to be able to say I saw them live once...

Thanks for that info Cheryl. I hope Stephen has a speedy recovery. We didn't get to find out what was wrong with David Crosby, that he was unable to do the tour when it was originally scheduled. He has lost quite a bit of weight. Hope it's nothing too serious.

Was it Steven Stills who wrote for what it is worth? I see real clear that not every one is wrong.
And Southern Cross is a great song to play on those juke boxes with a gadzillion songs but only 4 of adg's.
Oh despite the darkness things are looking real clear to me, that this Land has not been told the truth about these latter days.

If only only one blunderer tries to tell Pat Robertson that Jacob's Ladder is how things are going to happen. they will just say I am a lunitic. But can you imagine if 50,000 people a day told pat Robertson and Bill O'Reilly that they are full of shit, we might just have any another movement on our hands.

Louise, I think David's liver transplant was around 1995. So I don't know if his illness had anything to do with that.

was it that long ago??? ohhh I must be getting old! He looked pretty good when I saw an inteview the other day, and he was talking about the liver thing. Maybe he's just feeling older and tired sometimes, his body really took a pounding over the years.

Graham Nash revealed, via a phone interview on Larry King live (I think it was last Monday evening), that Stephen Stills has operable prostate cancer and will undergo surgery on 01/03/2008, his 63rd birthday.

Joe Walsh was also in the studio for this, a discussion about Dan Fogelberg's passing due to the disease. Both Walsh and Nash were friends of his.

I just came across something online saying David Crosby has type 1 diabetes and is on insulin for it like Mike is. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/DiabetesNe ... 36&page=12

I had no idea. Mike has it & I have type 2 diabetes the kind where you're on the pills for it. So sad. Blessings to CSNY...
