Thanks everybody for all the good wishes! It was a really great beginning to my birthday celebration. Thanks for the limerick, wheezie, wish you were here. Ha! Sparky, I wish that it was me that was drawing Wyld to back east... not hardly! Chonklit chile cake sounds kinda good, Arnie. Wouldn't a chonklit cello melt between one's knees, Kurt? Terrie, I would like a report on the Pampa doings, please! All the rest of you thank you, again. Some I will be seeing soon and am really looking forward to it...some I won't and am sad about that. Jays?, Larry????

Hey Jay! Happy birthday! May you age like a fine wine or a hunk o' cheese (but not the stinky kind)!

hey! In life's little lessons, it's the stinky cheese that gets noticed first!!

Are you sure you want to wish that on our good friend Jay? I mean when a bottle of wine ages,it collects sediment at it's bottom, and when cheese ages, it grows mold on it's rind. I, for one, would not wish that Jay grows mold and collects sediment on his bottom.

especially if it is stinky goat cheese!
that is what i have been saying...when it comes to food arnie, you make everything sound good...the only thing with the sausages (i guess they were) that you considered to be similar to hot dogs was that i was looking right at them! otherwise they seemed perfect!
i still ain't had no better knishes!

hey! when i was a teenager, i had a job that included cutting the cheese...you can learn a lot about both cheese and people that way

but wait a minute!! i know that zap meant what he said in the best possible way! i do!

As Jay's spouse and the one who is closest to him day in and day out, I'm not sure I like where this has been going. Ick!!!!!! What DO you people have against me? I like the part about "Jays" much better than discussions about cutting the stinky cheese. Sheesh!!!!!!!!!!!!

;-) Love you all (ya'll) anyway!

See that? Ya try to wish a guy the best and ya get all of these ne'er do wells twistin' your meaning and intentions. Well, I'll have you know that some fine cheeses are made with mold, such as Roquefort, Gorgonzola, brie, Blue cheese and Camembert. And speakin' as a mead maker, sediment is usually a result of the wine (or mead) still fermenting in the bottle, ergo a by-product of the brew's acquiring more taste, refinement, definition and personality. So, there! I bet ya'll think Budweiser is really beer, too!

All fine qualities that Jay has in abundance!

Budweiser?I thought it was a foot soak? I mean that's all I'd use it for.

Captain, to verífy your statement. Saw a report on TV about one of the most expensive STeakhouses in New York (Steak costs about 175$). They store their steaks until they get moldy to get the best meat result.
