an excellent night in the city out of doors, except for the almost unbearable heat, which didn't feel so bad after arlo mentioned his recent stint in Okemah where they REALLY know hot!
I know Sherry was keeping the setlist so hopefully she'll stop by someday to offer that up...
I'll just note that arlo, possibly due to an audients request, sat down at the piano and belted out Stealin' which I haven't heard him do in many many years... and he seemed to enjoy dragging out that chestnut too... he also surprised me with an encore version of Midnight Special... I had to look around to see if Pete was hidin' in the wings! (actually Tao Rodriguez-Seger was in attendance tonight - joining in with the opening act Roy Brown for his finale number - always a delight to hear Tao singing)

So, a 'short' arlo set, in the heat of the night in the middle of the city that never sleeps, and I'm one happy camper.
Great to see all my friends tonite, and sorry if I missed any!
