I just wanna let ya'll know that not every adg fan believes the floated information and convenient insinuations that have gained credence based simply on the number of times they've been repeated.

.

Equally respectfully, what you describe above much better describes the Rove/Bush machine's perpetuation of disinformation. Repeat lies often enough and the non-thinking take them as truths.

Impeached because of a blow job... Or impeached because of perjury in a Federal Grand Jury investigation? I guess it comes down to what side you're on. But we all know the true answer to the question above.

Are you comparing a blow job with a war of agression and the death and body and mind mutilation of thousands on all sides ? And it doesn't come down to what side you are on, the facts argue for themselves. He is not my president but what he does affects the whole world - unfortunately.

I sure hate to see the casualties of the war & it's sad. But I also don't want to see the terrorists come over here & takes us over either. So I look at the war in Iraq as one of the things you gotta do sometimes even tho ya don't like having to do it. I was anti-Nam tho. Prayers for the soliders...

I'm not gonna make enemies by going back and forth, round and round with all the "Are you suggesting...blah, blah, blah" debating stuff.

It's endless and it's pointless... I'm not gonna change your minds any more than you'll change mine.

I said what I had to say... Not all Arlo (nor folk) fans subscribe to the same line of thinking. That was my entire point.

Now pass the joint please.

Cheryl, I have the same fear of terrorist attacks. But in Iraq you're not fighting terrorists but the people of Iraq, young men, old men, women, children. The terrorists rub their hands and say thank you for creating a fertile ground for spreading my fanatic ideologies and give me excuses for my actions . See Terrie's list, No. 11.
Draz54, it's not about making enemies. To be able to say and think what you want and be free to say it. Not get banned or prosecuted or kicked out for your believes. Here one can do it.

If the exchange of ideas and opinions is pointless then our Democracy is truly dead and this country (USA) is headed for its end. Indeed, the media and corporate America (that now owns and controls both the media and the government) have highly stifled, if not effectively ended, that exchange. Debate is a part of Democracy.

I believe that George W. Bush can restore this great land to what it once was many years ago..........................A vast arctic waste land covered with ice!( Unless of course this global warming thing continues, then he may turn it into something else it once was even more years ago......... a prehistoric ocean)

When I was a student in at UT in Central Texas a hundred million (or 30 something) years ago, our intro geology class took a field trip on which, among other activities, we each could chip out a piece of a huge hill (in New England it would be called a mountain) made entirely of coprolite--fossilized dinosaur shit. That's why Shrub bought the ranch in Crawford--in Central Texas--so he could figure out how to turn the entire country--the world--into shit. And he has succeeded admirably. A-Plus!!!

I'll be called far left by some at best for the following thoughts, What would be so wrong by fixing healthcare and S.S. by using the profits from the TV? Cable and telephone too.

Everytime I lookat the headlines I think, "My God, the man who represents US interests in this World is a F'n idiot and since Iraq has turned into such a fiasco he is looking for a way to prove he has a penis".

Pretty Scary Times I Think

It's actually his balls that scare me!

Of course he could be trying to keep up with his predecessor, since Bill PROVED he had a penis! Bill's penis in fact was almost called to testify at the impeachment hearings because some people claimed they could indentify it if you may recall.

You're right, Larry, he has the balls of a safecracker, and he's dragging them along the ground these days. As far as his penis, it seems to have migrated north to above his collar line.
