It was nice to meet you face to face Mikey! I guess that guy who smells planes may also smell trains........just be thankful that you were not in seat 36c on that train! It's almost always the guy in seat 36c! :)

Larry, I was actually in seat 41 and, after a couple of Jack Daniels', was in seat 42 also! Lucky for me, they left the aisle seat open next to me!
Don't forget to say hello to my homeboy, Arnie, for me the next time you talk to him.

In the Shade of the Old Apple Tree is the name of a popular song dating from 1905. It was written by Harry Williams and Egbert Van Alstyne .

Don't know if it's public domain yet...but that's what I found out about it.

I'd like some thoughts about the Saturday show.

My wife and I were there. We both walked away feeling the crowd at that show was, shall we say, less than enthusiastic. We tried to liven things up a bit but we failed miserably.

This was our 1st show at the Guthrie Center. Are these crowds more congregation members rather than Arlo fans?

BTW... We just rented the "Alices Restaurant" DVD last night. After we enjoyed the entire movie, we found the special feature with Arlo's narration. What a treat... we watched it all over again.

Nice job on the narration Arlo!!
