this would be funny if it were only a cartoon! "I am going to start a war and kill you because you suggest I am violent"

It's been a few days since I've had a chance to read all the posts on here, so I'm late in saying just about anything...

I don't really know what to think about organized religions. I haven't had any kind of good experience with them, including the catholic church. No offense to anyone who finds solace in it.

PS, I agree with Ceashel, you're not insane, just passionate in a different sort of way, which is not a bad thing, cuz it helps all of us look at things in a different way. Helps us stretch a little - or maybe a lot. :) And well, we probably are all crazy.

I just love all of you and am really glad you're around.

Every time somebody mentions the string theory I keep thinking of those cans of silly string. Flourescent colors of string stretching all over the place connecting everything to everything else. Not very scientific, but colorful.

evidently it is on a lot of peoples minds!

it's like a lot of people are saying, "we gotta talk!"

Gods Comic

wish you'd known me when I was alive, I was a funny feller
The crowd would hoot and holler for more
I wore a drunk's red nose for applause
Oh yes I was a comical priest
"With a joke for the flock and a hand up your fleece"
Drooling the drink and the lipstick and greasepaint
Down the cardboard front of my dirty dog-collar

Chorus:

Now I'm dead, now I'm dead, now I'm dead,
now I'm dead, now I'm dead
And I'm going on to meet my reward
I was scared, I was scared, I was scared, I was scared
He might of never heard God's Comic

So there he was on a water-bed
Drinking a cola of a mystery brand
Reading an airport novelette, listening to Andrew Lloyd-Webber's "Requiem"
He said, before it had really begun, "I prefer the one about my son"
"I've been wading through all this unbelievable
junk and wondering if I should have given
the world to the monkeys"

Chorus

I'm going to take a little trip down Paradise's endless shores
They say that travel broadens the mind, 'til you can't get your head out of doors

I'm sitting here on the top of the world
I hang around in the longest night
Until each beast has gone bed and then I say
"God bless" and turn out the light
While you lie in the dark, afraid to breathe and you beg and you promise
And you bargain and you plead
Sometimes you confuse me with Santa Claus
It's the big white beard I suppose
I'm going up to the pole, where you folks die of cold
I might be gone for a while if you need me

Now I'm dead, now I'm dead, now I'm dead,
now I'm dead, now I'm dead and you're all
going on to meet your reward

Are you scared? Are you scared? Are you scared?
Are you scared?
You might have never heard, but God's comic

THank You Elvis

it looks like God has tired of comedy and turned his attention to planning tragedy? oh it is not God planning these things it is Dr. Evil, God just leaked the information.

Sorry, just trying to sort this

Lets see

You spend a life dedicated to creating a world that could explode by dividing man into categories of those that deserve the salvation of God and those that deserve damnation. Then you predict the explosion and say it is God who informed you of his will while the pawn GW jams hot pokers into the side of the beast, a clearly equivalently disoriented and confused Muslim beast with its own prophets of doom while the ordinary people prepare for Jihad with guns, duct tape and plastic sheeting.

Help me now I'm falling!

Jesus Christ I hope this is a dream!

I was dreaming again of being a youngster buck back in Tim's old man's trailer behind the twilight lounge there on sw 55 and Penn in beautiful OKC back in the summer of 75 and an open hand with purple barrell and a ka bong in the back of the 1/4 double wide when moose would come by and hassle us and collect his highlights (empty krylon cans (silver) and a church key to relieve the pressure and I would see silver on his chin as his eyes rolled back) and the the ka bong and the band in the twilight playing a tele with a box and merle to new riders with a stady beat and the smoke filled the room and we laughed and smiled and slamed the trailer door and headed down to S Young and headed into the armory (young) park and sat there in the moonlight and listened to quadraphonic crickets and let the smoke rise into the clearing as we headed up texoma to May and sat behind the 7/11 and smoked more and laughed an laughed in the midnight moonlight long ago in Oklahoma city
