First of all, just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. I hope whatever you're doing, you enjoy it, and God bless!

And wish me luck.... I'm cooking the bird for 8 this year, only the second time I've done it. I'll have help cooking, but it's gonna be crowded in my little place! Plus I'm cooking for the boyfriend's family, most of whom I haven't met yet, so..... eeek!!!!

Also, I posted this in Folksinger spottings, but I thought I would mention it here too. "Alice's" is going to be played non-stop all day on channel 16, The Vault, on Sirius radio. If you don't have a subscription, you can still listen on-line if you have a broadband connection. They offer a free 3-day trial on-line subscription. Just go to sirius.com, click on "Listen On-Line," and you'll be able to register for 3 free days.

I know most of you probably already own "Alice's Restaurant", but I figured I would mention it anyway. Besides, there's lots of other good stuff on Sirius.

Happy Thanksgiving again... hope you all have a great one!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you guys & ADG too! I wonder if the all Alices is on the Sirius that you can get on Dish Network? If it is I won't get to check it out cuz we are at my folks house which is 20 mins away & they only get Directv. Dreading the 3 am get to Wallyworld for the sale but I need the vcr with dvd that records on dvd for $99 & a $12 stick vac. Wish the sale was later lol... :)

Hi, Kim--great to "see" you! And thanks for the tip--we get Sirius via Dish Network. They played ALL the versions, in rotation, including the 40th Anniversary one. (Wonder where they got that...hope they had to pay dearly for it, and wonder which gig it was from; obviously it was recorded live.) We drove my sister bonkers by just turning the TV to Sirius Vault and leaving it on. Every now and then, she'd say, "What?" and we'd say, "Just singing along!"

I'm sure you fixed a Thanksgiving dinner that couldn't be beat! Hope to see more of you around here!

Thanks for the info. It figures that they'd play him on the Sirius on Dish Network when we couldn't be home to hear it lol...
