I took my dad, who is a longtime Arlo fan. He says he seen Arlo and Pete in the past at places like the Boston Garden and Great Woods (now Tweeter Center). He turned me on to Pete and Arlo when I was young.

Arlo was excellent, and Sarah Lee and her husband sounded great! She has such a sweet voice and she is a real doll. They sound great together. Abe was more than competent on keys, and Arlo was very very entertaining. The man who played pedal steel and mandolin was a great musician, and really fit his playing into the tracks seamlessly.

When they played the sample of the wire recording of Woody Guthrie, you could tell that the apple did not fall far from the tree when comes to Arlo's gift of gab on stage.

Yeh, my son and I hopped in the car and made the trip from the east coast of Canada just to see Arlo in Somerville. We were not disappointed in the least. Every one of the 420 miles to get there was worth it. Great evening of entertainment and the acoustics in the Somerville Theatre are fabulous. Arlo sure can pick the guitar when he wants to and his storytelling is so natural. I am sure those there could have listened to the Philosopy of Arlo and his music forever. The clip of Woody was priceless. Also got to check out a little Tibetan restaurant in Somerville that was a real treat as well.

....arlo and company always have an enthusiastic audience in the Boston area(if his shows get publicity so folks will know he's here)...he's been playing here for a long time and after... all he's "local talent"to alot of people...though, as he reminded us he's living in Western Mass ("that's west of Worcester" he enlightens us with good reason)...

this audience was excited and very responsive to this show....for me the Legacy tour is an amazing experience ... Arlo has a way of weaving the music and talk and laughs until he's created a tapestry of what he's saying....it's so subtle yet powerful...and by the end nearly everybody gets it...

...if you still have a chance to catch this tour...don't hesitate...you will change in how you see music, the enormity of influence of Woody and his offspring on the music of our country and how we all are part of something quite extraordinary....
