I did find out and I did go.

I could not believe that there is a person so wonderful as Arlo, and I am not just saying that. I was have a bad day on tuesday and when I got home and got all of the emails....it was too much for me to handle. I was late to the show, I didn't see my email till 6:00 and I live 2 hours from seattle and I needed to find a ride there. My mom and I went as soon as she got home. It was my second Arlo show and I was once again amazed. My mom was so happy that Arlo did that for me, of all people, she was over-joyed, she felt like she let me down by not being able to afford tickets to go and when she found out it made her cry. I just want to thank all of you for looking out for my best interest. And I wanted to thank Arlo again, I wrote him a little letter but I do not know if he got it or not, but thank you is not enough. I can never repay him for what he did but I hope he knows that it means the world to me and I will never forget that he did that for me.

What a guy our Arol is! When I read that he'd left tickets for leanmarie, i was really touched. I'm so glad she got to see him. Arlo, you are truly a kind man.

The Seattle show was wonderful. It was so much fun to hear him sing "Alice's Restaurant Masacree" in it's complete version after so many years. He did it so well, and I'd thought perhaps he'd forgotten some of the words! What was I thinking???

Seeing Abe again was also pretty neat. I wish he would have been signing autographs after the show with his dad, as I would have enjoyed saying hi. I first remember seeing Abe when he was much younger in Spokane, and he was a sweet heart.

The Masacree Band, made up of Abe, Gordon Titcomb and trio of sisters who's names I didn't catch .... all did a superb job of backing Arlo up, and it was more that apparent that each had tremendous talent. The slide guitar that Gordon played was an added demension that had my hubby even more pumped up, as he loves the sound of that instrument. GT played it like a country angel. The sisters did an old song, a capello, that knocked my socks off.... wish I'd written down the name of it, and them.

Thanks for a memorable, warm, and fun evening again, Arlo!! Bless your heart, you always seem like a good ol' friend.

Shar aka Luna Azul

the sister trio were the Burns sisters, I do not know the name of the song. I do agree, they were perfect.

The song that the Burns Sisters most often do a capella is "The Prayer of St. Francis" ...

"Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.... "

It's on their album "Out of the Blue" ... you can find out more about them at www.burnssisters.com

(BTW... they've played at WoodyFest in Okemah the last couple of years... I'm fairly sure they'll be there again!)
