I dunno if I like Davy as well as Arlo...

A friend of mine had her first kid a while back--she named him Milo. The "o" suffix names seem to be getting popular ;)

Thanks so much LongTimeArloFan. It was great to read Arlo's explanation of how his unusual name came about- cool story!

Hey BobbieB did you see the article in the Sunday Mail, a few weeks back, about kids with unusual names? One kid was named Arlo "after the 70's rock star Arlo Guthrie." And all this time I thought he was a folkslinger????

Back in the sixties and seventies, I don't recall that there was much of a distinction between rock music and folk music as there is now. Not that I can really recall much about those days...

Yeah Louise, had a chuckle about that myself. There have certainly been some interesting names for kids not only in the 60's, but even up to now. We had a cat called Arlo once, but didn't name our kids after any of our singing legends.
