Well I got my Yamaha classical guitar that I told yall about. Tonight I restrung it. I wanted fresh strings seeing that the previous owner said the guitar at idle for quite a while. The sales rep at the music store suggested Labella Folk strings after talking to me. With the exception of them stretching out of tune every 5 strums they sound really nice. Thank goodness I haven't completely forgot how to tune. I decided to go with a tuning fork and harmonic tuning...not sure this old gal can handle all those fancy new fangled electronic tuners

I realized though I have a lot of work to do. It has been easily 25 years since I have actively played the guitar. I kept having to look up chords because my menopause brain isn't what it used to be Also I have to do some serious stretching of my fingers. I learned and basically played an epiphone steel acoustic way back when and this Yamaha neck is a good deal larger. LOL when I first started playing tonight my C cords sounded horrid! But I did see some improvement as the night went on. Gotta work on my hand positions.

I'm trying hard not to get frustrated. I was looking into lessons for my son wonder if I should sign myself up too!

Btw I was reading an old post regarding the chords to My peace....about that d/f# chord....all I can say...it ain't gonna happen. Not unless I grow a 6th finger on that hand

Good luck with picking up playing again. I don't play my guitar as much as I should & tend to play my autoharp & mountain dulcimer more. But even tho I don't play them as much as I should. It's kinda hard for me playing guitar cuz the string action is too high. I need to get it fixed someday when I can afford. I bought me a bowed pasltery the other day at Tamarack & am having fun with it...
