I sure hope I can figure out the way to Oyster Bay. We have lawn tickets. It will be fun to hear more Woody recordings and to hear Arlo and the kids (and maybe grandkids).

i was thinkin' about going again, since it's really a short hop from the south shore to the north shore of LI, but it looks like i'll be otherwise engaged this year...
the Planting Fields is a beautiful location, and although you see the stage better from 'under the tent' the lawn party is quite nice - just get there early to secure a good location, as it does fill up.
Haven't heard from pat lately, but perhaps she'll wander over for the show.

Have fun at the show. I've never been to Oyster Bay before so you can have my seat I would've sat in if I was there... :)

Hey Kurt, made a last minute decision to go. Ordered my lawn seats today! I'll be there with my wife Reg and we'll be hanging out with Pat. If you see a guy in a black Arlo cap with an impeach Bush button on it you've found me.

Arlo avoided singing Ruben Clamzo since you wouldn't want to enrage the giant clams with all them women and children present.

It was fun hanging out with JohnC and Pat. Hope to see you at the Fall Revival. The weather was real nice, the sound was great, and the view from the lawn was pretty good. Lots of Woody songs, old and new

The lineup was Johnny, Sarah Lee, Arlo, Abe, Krishna, and Gordon.

Red Haired Boy
Oklahoma Hills
Talking Dust Bowl Blues
Pastures Of Plenty
Union Maid
Lady's Auxilary
St. James Infirmary
Kindness <---------------------+--- Sara Lee & Johnny
Another Man's Done Gone <-+
Darkest Hour
Hard Travelin'
Coming Into Los Angeles
Green Green Rocky Road

Alice's Restaurant
Times Like These
Exploration <-+--- Sarah Lee & Johnny
Peace Call <--+
City Of New Orleans
Motorcycle Song
I Hear You Sing Again
This Land Is Your Land

My Peace

WOW!! Sounded like an awesome show especially the songs that were dug up from the old vault like Ladies Auxillary from the Precious Friend CD......One wise man once said, everything's old but new again! 8)

Sara Lee took the first verse of Union Maid and everyone joined in for the chorus. Very nice.

Hey Kurt, it was fun spending time with you and Trisha and Pat and Vicky. Bob rabbit was there too. (or was it Rabbit Bob?) We'll definately be at the fall gigs. We've reserved a room. Now just need tickets to go on sale.

Arnie. you were missed.
