Good morning Gawain,
there is a show scheduled in Europe, it is on the 19th of September in Germany at the Wartburg Castle in Eisenach. I was so lucky to have Kurt inform me about it and would have posted it as soon as the Wartburg Castle or the manager of Wenzel, the guy Arlo is performing the special Guthrie night with, would have confirmed the date. But from their side it is not scheduled yet and therefore there are no tickets available so far. But I have put in 2 days of vacation already and keep my fingers crossed that the gig will happen.

I guess I'll have to do a lot of saving up if I am to get to Germany, otherwise hope he stops off somewhere a bit closer on his way back!

The Wartburg Castle show is listed on the concert listings. No link to any sites on it tho...

You know you may as well stop over in the UK on your way or way back from Germany. I'll bake a cake, we could hasve some tea, you could sing a few songs, you could chat a bit tell afew stories, or why not just play the gig. You know you want to!

Hello European Blunderites, Gawain, Endre, hakan and whoever is out there.
You need to check out the Schedule link so you will believe what I'm telling you:
Arlo is coming to Europe. He will attend the Tonder Folk Festival in Denmark and will have gigs in Berlin, Munich and Eisenach, Germany in August and September. There are definitely not enough smilies available.
Let's go to hear and see our favourite Folksinger live and maybe meet him in person. I will start right away with making summer vacation plans going north towards the north sea or the east sea depending on where Tonder is located at. Hope to see some of you.

you need to check out the schedule button. Arlo is coming to Invernes, Scotland on August 18th. Now what about that for you. But you'll have to protect him from Nessie (is that close by?) so he won't be stopped from travelling further to Denmark and Germany.

I just reread our posts. You owe Arlo a cake and I'm in for some cappuccino!
I am anxious to get my tickets, but all the event locations are much slower than arlonet. No link will give me the up to date programs and therefore can't buy tickets. I guess I need to be patient and keep on checking.

Now this has made my morning, my day, and my year! Scotland here I come. With some coffee and some cake.
