Feb 18 Atlanta Guthrie Show

Just wanted to say that Santa brought my 11-year old son and I 2 tickets to the February 18th show in Atlanta.

My son, though he likes "Alice's Restaurant", he really loves the songs off the Pete Seeger/Arlo collabarations like "Precious Friends."

I have actually had to tell him that the Woodie Guthrie union and Okie-type songs are not truly understood at his middle school. So if there is a chance for "Deportees (Plane Wreck at Los Gatos at the show, that would be great.

er...........did I mention I am planning to be at that show (can't edit my last post so now I look like a post whore :evil: ).............I am getting a little time off work to go to Newberry, Atlanta, and Athens (GA, not Greece :roll: )

I am having dreams of him playing "Massachussetts" at the February 18 show. In this dream, he dedicates it to my wife, Maureen. I'm trying to get her to move up there, but unsuccessful after 15 years.

TANK YA Arnie! {does a little dance, sings a little song in anticipation}.......er.........as to what a post whore truly is.....someone who answers posts on the same thread separately to up their post account (notice above :shock: ----but it is unintentional on my part I SWEAR :? )

Lenore... I don't think you're a "post whore" ...I think there's something wrong with the EDIT function in this forum. It seems to work in other forums, but not here... if it were working, I'm sure you woudl have used it!
