I saw some of the new dates for performances. Any chance Arlo will be heading back into Michigan in 2006? I'd love to see him again! If not, I wouldn't mind taking the drive to MA. In the extremely unlikely chance that we are able to head oveor this summer (just playing with some options here), how does one procure tickets to the Church performances?

That would be a really neat roadtrip for us ;)

The Guthrie Center will be offering tickets online. You'll be able to print the tix from your computer or pick them up at the church etc. Look for that soon. It'll be for all shows and events at the church and maybe other venues too... Gotta love the tech stuff.

arlo, the tech stuff is really neat and all that, and I'm all for it, but there's always been something special about callin' the church and speaking to George or Lisa or whoever happens to be handy! Speakin' to a real person to make your ticket reservation! How unique and special an idea, especially in this day of Offshore Initiatives!
Just something to think about while you munch on some leftover latkes...

With the church running at a deficit I'm sending George to India to answer the phones over there - very nice this time of year. When you have only one person on salary and he's got to answer the phones for all the shows (never mind trying to book them) and events... Well ya get the picture! As soon as we're running in the black I'll ask George to come back to the US.

Happy Everything!

Why don't we send george to Indiana instead? I mean it sounds almost the same as India, it's closer, the time change is not that big a thing, and the language is at least similar to that of Mooseachuchetts. :)

No, better to send George to India for a while. Then, when he gets back, he can run a convenience store, be a doctor, or even better, answer the phones in Housatonic with a thick Indian accent telling everyone that they've dialed Bombay by mistake.

Wow! Far out 8) . Can you buy the tix and print out from the Guthrie Center website? This sure beats standing by on the phone on hold with your knees knocking and palms sweating for a half an hour :) .....Thanks for posting :)

Peace

Lorie

hmmmmmm... i smell the makings of a GREAT fundraising campaign!
It's the BRING GEORGE BACK TO THE GC in the US! movement... and all ya' gotta do is whip out your checkbook... with feelin'!

Well, count on me to do my part and get that deficit buster in the mail this week!
George, we'll have you back here quicker than a Bollywood musical number! (well, ok, maybe you should pack that toothbrush...)

Meanwhile, looking forward to the e-ticketing at the GC!

Not to be a wet blanket, but maybe we should ask George? I mean maybe he would prefer Hawaii, or Brooklyn or someplace else? :?

yup, can't argue about the pizza. (and I probably would have settled for ATTITUDE too!)

last really good pizza I had in brooklyn was at Grimaldi's (aka Patsy's) under the brooklyn bridge... mmmmmmmmmm
can't get that in the Berks, can't even get it on Long Island, so I guess sending George there wouldn't be such a bad deal for him...

Ahhhhh... Good Pizza is important Arlo, but did you ever have a better apple pie than the ones from Taft Farms? I bring one home every time I visit the berks!
