In Aug., Bob Dylan begins a 22-city tour of minor league baseball parks called "The Bob Dylan Show," with special guests Willie Nelson & western swing group the Hot Club of Cowtown. All seats will be general admission & kids under 12 will be admitted free with a paying adult.

On his web site, Dylan is quoted as saying, "What we aim to do with this tour is hit the ball out of the park, touch all the bases and get home safely."
(I can't believe he really said that, can you?)

Further info is at http://www.bobdylan.com/updates where you will also find a link to the tour schedule. Don't miss the chance to peek at the tour schedule; off hand I can see that the tour will be coming near a few of you folks!

Our team's park (The Reading Phillies) isn't on the list. Guess we'll have to head on down to my daughter's hero's park in Aberdeen. I think she'd want to go to the concert just to see if she could catch a glimpse of Ripken! And his museum, of course.

"All the bases?" Well, at least Oklahoma City is west of the Mississippi. I wouldn't call it "all the bases," though.

Looks like we won't be going to this one. We are unsure as to whether or not we are gonna go see Arlo in Akron then. If we see Arlo, Dylan is out If we go later in the month to Mikes sisters in Ohio & are home when Dylan comes, tix are $45 & we can't afford that with saving up to go to 4 Arlo shows in the fall...

Not that I ever had any doubt about it, but that post proves once & for all that you, Cheryl, are truly deserving of the undisputed title of Arlo's Biggest Fan. I'm a fan of both Arlo & Dylan, have seen each in concert several times, & have always said that if Arlo & Dylan were playing here on the same night, I'd go see Arlo in a heartbeat. But if I knew I were seeing Arlo 4 or 5 times in a short amount of time, I'd give up one of those times to see Dylan. (Sorry, Arlo.)

LOL! I'd like to see Dylan again but with all those Arlo shows & out annual 2 weeks trip to visit Mikes sister in OH, can't afford Dylan on top of it. Maybe if I'm lucky some radio stations will give away tix & if so I'd love to win...

We might just go see Bob & Willie when they're in Charleston ... or we might just wait until Arlo rolls through the area again. We saw Bob in Charleston in 2002 and it was a pretty good concert. :D

I can't make it, but look me up at the Dutchess Stadium show!
