Since I don't wanna start a new topic just for the sake of this one message I'll just put it here. Sorry it's not Freddie/CATM related but it was exciting for us...

Rather than start a new topic I'm putting this in a music thread. Hope this is the right on to put it under...

You may have heard of a country singer named Patty Loveless. She has filmed a new video in the hillbilly area of KY Mike is from.

You see the house that is in her new video is the house my husband Mike used to live in back when he lived in Stone, KY in the 50's. The house is also gonna be on the cover of her new album... His daddy was a coal miner up there & they mvoed to VA in 1958 when the mines shut down. My husband likes Patty Loveless & is thrilled his old homeplace is in the video & on the album cover! We are both anxiously awaiting it's release.

I've been there a number of times & have taken pictures of the house & my hubby standing near it. In fact he has old pictures of himself & his family with the house. He was telling me that his mother used to sit on the front porch of the house on an old swing they had. The house by the way didn't have indoor plumbing. Supposedly our brother-in-laws (My hubbys sisters hubby's) shack that is near it is in the video supposedly. Goodness I have stayed up there in my bro-in-laws parents old home. The part of Stone, KY where the video was filmed is called Trout Town. It was named after my bro-in-laws family.
So I thought folks might want to be on the lookout for it the new video & her new album! It's cool how she's paying homeage to her roots (She's from the same county Mike is from)...

I had put this on another message baord unrelated to Arlo (The one on CHICO & THE MAN-- a good old tv show from the 70's) & copied from there so I wouldn't have to write it twice.
