tx kj. It took me awhile to get used to it. But I think her name in full is really great! Zowee Cambria McNamara. I really love her middle name.

Derek John ( Zowee's Dad ) is my step-son. But I feel very proud, that D.J. is as close to me, or maybe closer than his bi-ological father. We just seemed to bond more. I met my step-son when he was 11.5 mnths. old. So I got to celebrate his 1st. birthday, with him and his Mom's side of the family..

I was the one, who took him fishing, got him his first snowmobile ( at age 6 ) and showed him, that country living, beats the city, in allot of respects....

I guess to sum it up, his real Dad wasn't interested in ice fishing, boating, and all the things little boys love.... His Dad was more into his career, than raising Derek, and as time went by, Derek knew who he'd rather spend time with....

21 years, is allot of history. I took this for granted for a long time, untill Derek at age 16 ( legally able to make his own decisions in NY state) wanted to spend every wk end with us, rather than his workaholic father! I knew I had done something right, in the form of fatherhood... Something that came naturally to me, as I'm fortunate, my Dad is 84, and in great health...... In fact, I've never thought of Derek, being my stepson. Just a son... I asked him of late... ( as he's been in the Chicago Area for over 2 yrs) What was his favorite memory of being a teenager.... And he thought about it for awhile. And suggested, spending a wk. in Great Barrington, & attending a summer series concert at the Guthrie Cnt. (Xavier 2000) And meeting Arlo Guthrie..... Derek is always interested in anything, Arlo related.... ( Unlike my youngest son, who's into hip-hop and rap music )

Altho Robbie has fond memory's of Xavier and having his photo taken with Arlo

i'm not sure how to say it. does it sound like zow-ee? or does is it sound like zoh-ee? i have a friend whose name sounds like zoh-ee...like zoh-ee boh-ee. i'm not sure how to spell any of it!
