Yes, you'all can officially call me an old fart... ( with no offence taken ) Sue and myself, had a fortunate blessing bestowed on us, on this day. Baby Zowee came into the world, about 1:00 this afternoon ( Chicago time )....

For those of you wondering, Zowee is a girl... black hair, brown eyes, and was 19 inches long... I haven't memorized her middle name ( knew I should of written it down.... the old fart syndrome starting allready ) LOL

Important thing, she has 10 fingers and 10 toes..... And from what a hear, I very good set of lungs... You can bet I'll keep you posted... ;-)

And to Larry F... well, she has 8 fingers and 2 thumbs.... ( no, not two thumbs on one hand,,, one on each ) Forgive me, if I sound silly... This is definately one of the most emotional days of my life....

God's been good to me....

I suppose Rob you were expecting me to make some smartass remark by telling me all the thumbs and fingers were in proper proportion?

I guess my reputation preceeds me ! Congrats! And like I said to you before, Grandpa Rob has a nice ring to it! Not to mention Grandma Sue sounds even better!

PSBbeaty: Tx. no problem being late! Well wishes are always appreciated &. not to be extremley politically correct. I'll give you an example, of what my 3rd grade teacher tought us, in grade school. Upon addressing the word kid, she insisted the whole class to look of said definition of kid, in the dictionary.

def: of kid.. ( websters addition 1963) a kid was defined as a baby goat.

The proper definition was, child. ( singular ) Children was definition of more than one child... Mrs. Green took great offence of calling a child a kid. ( baby goat) She made the whole class, write the definition of KID, and the definition of Chilld, 25 times, for our ignorance....

Please understand, I'm a liberal, and over the yrs. the dictionary has changed and or added litterally 1000's new of words( AS I'm sure your well aware of)........ I suppose to keep up with the times... I have NO problem with calling a child a kid.... Funny how teachers leave an impact on ones life. It wasn't untill today, my probation officer's last question, was, ( after the have you used? Have you had any contact with law enforcement officials? Have you missed any of your drug re-hab appts>? )Is there anything new? And I told her I was a Grandfather as of yesterday> Her reply to me, was have fun with the kid, and I thought, well she's not a goat. She's an infant child... But I bit my tounge....

Funny how I can remember what was happening some 41 yrs. ago, but I can't remember what I was doing last wk......

Just a little story of my past experiences..... And please understand, I don't have a problem with that paticular noune. And I sincererly thank you for your opinion on Zowee..... I took it as a compliment! TRUST ME// :-)
