Thank you all--it's been a birthday that couldn't be beat! No, I might like to be 39 again, but not 21. I survived it the first time around; I don't want to press my luck.

Thanks Bob--but not to worry--there is no "late" around here--it's all celery time.

And thank you, Jay, for making it the best ever!

Kinky should run for Prez. Couldn't be any worse than the current stumblebums. And the Dem's need a backbone or spine or something.

I missed birthdays again, didn't I? Can we start a thread for next year so I can be early?

Happy rest of the year, Ceashel!

On the occasion of Ceashel's birthday week - I wanted to throw in...Kinky Friedman was hassled this week because marched in a St. Patricks day parade holding an open beer can. I SAY (to both Kinky and Ceashel)...PARTY ON!

Thanks, Pat! I say that it's officially everybody's birthday, from here to December 31, then we start over again! And Godde knows anything I say is official! HA!

Reg, take note: they can't charge Kinky with anything in Dallas because the 'heinous crime'--someone handed him a can of Guiness and he took a swig while riding in a convertible in the parade--was not observed by a police officer. So litterin' or other 'high' crimes can't be charged unless observed by Obie or his kin? Woo-hoo! It's gonna be a good year!

Ceashel...That's what I heard...(the cop didn't "see" him) - that's why it came down to just "hassling" him. But I loved his remark - something about not being polite or appropriate to celebrate St. Pat's day without a Guinness. He made it the joke it really was.
